Throughout 2024-25, we want to do even more to support you and give you more control over what you need and when you need it. Our flagship national conferences, 3 times a year per sector, remain the central dates of the PiXL calendar and most of our resources and strategy releases are launched there. You will also hear from schools having impact and specialist keynote speakers. These conferences are planned based on the things our members want to hear about and are a time for making connections and contacts.
We believe in the power of learning from each other and have enhanced our approach to networking to give you what you are asking for. We want to help you feel even more empowered and equipped in your leadership, and we hope that these 5 new developments will help that become even more of a reality, all included as part of the 2024/25 membership.
Your PiXL Specialist – This is your designated person (previously called PiXL associate) to work alongside you all year round to discuss your Wildly Important Goals, barriers and school priorities, all part of the improving outcome conversations. However, now you can book 15, 30 or 45 minutes at a time that suits you, whenever you like, as often as you like.
Book a surgery – Sometimes you need to get into the details of a resource or strategy or a curriculum area so that you understand how to implement it. Sometimes you need time to talk and be listened to as to work through your own thinking. Book one of our many specialists that are experts in a range of areas, such as reading, curriculum, character and culture, teaching and learning, leadership, PiXL strategies and more. Get specific, bespoke support at a time that suits you.
Networks – Join like-minded people who are all facing the same challenge and share practical ideas and solutions on this specific issue in our networks. Don’t be alone. Connect and share, don’t be stuck!
Topical Online Forums – These are for the big issues of education that hit the headlines and that need our heads together. Sometimes they will be interviews with experts, sometimes a 20-minute interactive ‘Big Think’ where we share ideas at speed.
Open days– Time to get out of your school and get a fresh perspective. See strategies in action, speak to leaders, meet other people. Get some time to think with others.
